I am a freelance illustrator living in Los Angeles, but I am ALSO a big ol' nerd, werewolf lover, and have a PhD in Pokemon Biology (I'm sorry, I lied. I'm still working on that degree)

This is both a musing but also a genuine, actual question - I remember when I started coming on to DeviantArt, I was 17 and I was amazed by the access I had to everyone and everything, but also there were people I could talk to. People that were so enthusiastic to talk about art, people so enthusiastic to share and talk and...... well, I haven't been active here in a number of years. I was depressed, I deleted almost my entire galaxy, and I've been uploading here as a ghost. I know there are technically "communities" on deviantart, but is there actually a *sense* of community? I miss it, I really do.
